Adding a google RSS to your site

dilum <laksh...@gmail.com>

Hi all,

Isnt it wonderful if you could get a RSS feed right in to your
website? That will bring fresh content from sources around the world
to your website.

I am just going to share a tip that you could find useful.

Google provides "google alerts" service. You can set up a google alert
to inform you when you get some content of your interest.

e.g. I wanted to get Lankan health information. I have set up an alert
for that and got the RSS out put of it.

Once the aggregator module is enabled, you can add the XML link as the
source.

It will just display the content and provide you with a block to
juggle around.

One important thing. I found the titles to contain HTML tags that was
messing my RSS output.

I was able to correct that following this node
http://drupal.org/node/311511

This is the end result:

Any questions, comments and advise is most welcome!
